About Us
The Coffee House is a joint initiative between St Mary’s Church and Bransgore Community Church and is run by volunteers from both Churches and from the wider community.
It is a popular meeting place and is well supported by people giving their time to serve in the café, or by making cakes, biscuits and home-made soups. It supports local businesses wherever possible and one of the best sellers are teacakes from Elizabeth’s Bakery. The coffee and other products are from Fairtrade suppliers.

Volunteers – the Coffee House is flourishing and has a great team of volunteers. As with any organisation which relies on the goodwill of people to give up some of their time, there is always a need to find more recruits. Full training is given and it’s an ideal opportunity to learn the art of being a barista.
We also have several Duke of Edinburgh Award students working with us. These young people bring a different vibe to the café on a Saturday morning and are a pleasure to have around.

Anyone interested in joining the team you can find out more by calling in for a coffee or through our contact page.
